A trading firm built on quiet competence.

AYCAS Commodities is the kind of commodities firm procurement managers keep on a counterparty list for years — not the loudest name in the market, the one whose shipments arrive as contracted.

Practitioners, not marketers.

AYCAS Investments (Pvt) Ltd was incorporated in Harare on 27 August 2025 as a disciplined, small-team commodities trading practice running flows in two directions — agricultural imports into Zimbabwe from South Africa, Zambia and Malawi, and mineral exports from Zimbabwe to refiners and smelters worldwide.

We are deliberately new and deliberately focused: a tight book, a small team, and the full trade lifecycle handled under one roof. The principals bring combined experience across engineering, operations management and Zimbabwean commercial practice — and the firm was incorporated to bring that experience to bear on the commodities trade, where disciplined process and contractual rigour matter more than scale.

"We'd rather be the firm a buyer's procurement director trusts implicitly than the loudest name in the market."

What we aim for.

Our vision

To be the most disciplined commodities trading firm operating out of Harare — the name regional millers and international refiners call first when the contract has to perform.

Our mission

To move commodities into and out of Zimbabwe with contractual rigour, compliance discipline and operational oversight — protecting counterparty confidence through every shipment.

Five principles we organise around.

01

Origin discipline

We source directly. No layered middlemen, no unknown provenance, no shipments we can't stand behind.

02

Contract rigour

We contract on standard forms — GAFTA, FOSFA, MMCZ terms — because enforceability matters more than creativity.

03

Compliance before speed

We will lose a deal rather than skip a KYC check or a sanctions screen.

04

Operational oversight

We visit the farm, the mill, the mine, the rail-siding, the border, the port. The documents reflect what we saw.

05

Long relationships

Our counterparty book is built on repeat business. First shipments set the standard for the twentieth.

The AYCAS board.

A small, directly-involved board carrying full operational accountability. Each director contributes oversight across sourcing, compliance, finance and logistics.
