Zimbabwean food and beverage processors work to international ingredient specifications that local supply cannot always deliver consistently. AYCAS sources from audited producers in Southern Africa, the EU and North Africa — contracted on Certificate of Analysis with retained samples, batch traceability and full documentary clearance.

Brown sugar — Beverage and specialty grades.

Brown sugar imported from Southern African regional mills — primarily South African producers — into Zimbabwe for beverage and cordial manufacturers, bakeries and confectioners, food processors, cereal and dairy flavouring, and the retail trade. Light brown, medium brown and muscovado grades where local production consistently lags industrial demand. We do not trade refined white sugar.

Double-concentrated and triple-concentrated tomato paste imported into Zimbabwean sauce manufacturers, ready-meal producers, food-service distributors and retail repackers. Specified on Brix concentration, colour grade (Bostwick viscosity and a/b ratio) and processing method (HTST, cold-break vs hot-break).

Dehydrated baobab fruit pulp — high in natural vitamin C, fibre and antioxidants — for the nutraceutical, bakery premix, beverage and specialty-food sectors. Contracted to vitamin-C content, moisture spec and microbiological clearance; organic and fair-trade certification available from source where the buyer requires it.

Audited processors only — ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC where destination requires it. Plant code, production date and batch number on every lot.
Testing
Certificate of Analysis per lot. Retained samples held 60 days. Microbiological panel appropriate to the product class.
Cold chain
FCOJ and temperature-sensitive product on cold-chain lanes with container-level logging. Tomato paste & sugar at ambient with humidity control.
Import clearance
Ministry of Health food-safety clearance as required. ZIMRA import declaration, duty & VAT paid. Ministry of Industry & Commerce import permits where applicable.
Contract
Incoterms 2020 — CIF / CFR Durban typically, with onward road transit into Zimbabwe. LC or documentary collection on presentation.
