Supply AYCAS · Zimbabwe & regional

Supply AYCAS.

We source from Zimbabwean commercial growers and from regional producers in South Africa, Zambia and Malawi. The onboarding process is the same for everyone; the documentary annex you complete depends on your jurisdiction.

The commodity book, buy-side.

Our supplier relationships sit across the agricultural and mineral lines. Volumes range from single-truck parcels to seasonal programmes.

Grains & pulses
Maize (Non-GMO white is a priority local-sourcing line), sugar beans, soya bean and meal, peanuts. Specs: GAFTA-referenced moisture, grade and tolerance.
Specialty agri
Tomato paste, orange concentrate, baobab pulp and brown sugar against firm buyer offtake.
Minerals (export side)
Tungsten (scheelite, wolframite) and chrome (lumpy, friable, concentrate) from licensed Zimbabwean mines only. MMCZ permit required.

One process, four stages.

The same four stages for every supplier, regardless of jurisdiction. Documentary requirements differ by track — Annex A (Zimbabwe) or Annex B (Regional) — see below.

01

Apply

Send the supplier vetting questionnaire, company registration, directors' IDs and a short list of the commodities and volumes you can supply. Email trade@aycascommodities.com or use the enquiry form.

02

Vet

AYCAS runs sanctions screening, verifies registrations with the relevant registry (CIPZ for Zimbabwe; CIPC for South Africa; equivalents for Zambia and Malawi), checks tax clearance and takes up references. Typical turnaround: five working days.

03

Contract

Zimbabwean suppliers contract on a domestic supply agreement (ex-farm or delivered-to-mill). Regional suppliers contract on GAFTA paper with Incoterms 2020 (FOB origin, CFR Zimbabwe border or DAP). Either way — familiar, enforceable terms.

04

Trade

SGS / Bureau Veritas / Intertek inspection at loading. Weighbridge at origin and again at delivery. Payment per the contract schedule — USD via FCA for Zimbabwean suppliers; ZAR or cross-border remittance for regional suppliers, with AYCAS handling the RBZ CD1 on the import side.

Same process. Annex per jurisdiction.

The vetting questionnaire has two annexes. You complete the one that applies to where you are registered and operating.

Annex A — Zimbabwean growers & aggregators
CIPZ certificate of incorporation · ZIMRA tax clearance · directors' national IDs · bank confirmation letter (FCA preferred) · sanctions declaration · commodity and capacity schedule. No phytosanitary certificate required (domestic flow). Payment in USD via FCA.
Annex B — Regional suppliers (SA, Zambia, Malawi)
Certificate of incorporation (CIPC / equivalent) · tax clearance (SARS / equivalent) · VAT number · BBBEE certificate for South African suppliers · directors' passport copies and IDs · bank confirmation · sanctions declaration · phytosanitary plan (DAFF / ZARI / DARS) · export authorisation where required. GAFTA contract standard. Payment in hard currency with AYCAS managing the RBZ CD1 on the Zimbabwean side.
Inspection & quality — both tracks
SGS / Bureau Veritas / Intertek at loading, retained samples held for 60 days, certificate of analysis signed before documents are released. Weighbridge verification at origin and delivery.
Mineral suppliers — additional
Licensed Zimbabwean miners only, with MMCZ permit per shipment. Environmental Management Agency (EMA) certificate and mining claim documents. Chain-of-custody from pit to port.

What suppliers can expect from AYCAS.

Payment on contracted terms

Every supplier is paid against the contractual schedule. We don't stretch suppliers to fund the buy-side of the trade. If payment slips, we tell you before it does.

No speculative buying

AYCAS contracts against firm buyer offtake. We don't accumulate supply we haven't placed.

One point of contact

A named trader handles your account — from first enquiry to final payment. No round-robin of relationship managers.

Honest feedback

If a consignment fails spec we say so, document it and settle per contract. No silent docking, no unexplained deductions.
